Dear Bloggers,

igoogle is a great way of researching the latest headlines and information. My experience with igoogle was fantastic! I didnt have any troubles creating my account or changing my themes or anything! It was so simple and fun! One of the best features of igoogle is the many themes that you can chose for your homepage once you have created your account. I know that i will keep using my igoogle account as it is a fun way of researching information in different ways.

In other world news headlines, China has announced it would indefinitely postpone a mandate requiring all personal computers sold in the country to be accompanied by a controversial content-filtering application. The government-set a deadline that would have required the software, called Green Dam-Youth Escort, to come with all PCs, according to the official Xinhua news agency. The Chinese government has said the software is a good way for parents to protect their children from pornography. But a wide range of outside parties have expressed concern about the software.

Thy Best Geography Class:)

Dear Bloggers,

This semester’s topics for year 9 Geography have covered a wide range of areas. In term one we investigated Australias Physical Environment. We learnt about natural disasters that had happened in Australia such as the Victorian Bushfires and the Queensland floodings. We discovered some of the affects on the communities the disasters happened too and how they suffered after it happened.

Term two brought even more skills and learning about Changing Communities! We researched the different changing communities and in Particular the Indigenous peoples of Australia. Also in term two we learnt a lot more skills to help us find different things such as bearings and gradient!

We all love our yr 9 Geography class!

Bet Your Not As Skilled as Ms Galea’s Yr9 Geo Class!

To work out Bearings, she told us always to go clockwise.

To measure the distance, she told us to multiply them together.

To Estimate the area of something, she told us to tick the whole boxes.

To do a cross section, she told us to join the dots free hand.

To work out the gradient, she told us to remember rise over run.

But you know what, shes NOT the cats mother, shes just Ms R Galea!
